Our Story

Haize Boutique is a jewellery brand founded by Hazal Gurbuz who values historic craftsmanship reimagined with contemporary elements of bold, fun and beautiful fashion trends. The designs of our jewellery unite with Eastern and Western heritage and are inspired by the Mediterrenian and Turkish traditions. Every piece is handcrafted by artisans in Istanbul and are made from 18-22k gold plated coverings as well as precious natural stones.

WHAT IS THE EVIL EYE?

"Nazar" or "Evil Eye" dates back 5000 years. As well as being strongly seen in the Turkish culture, it also exists in other cultures too.

It is believed that the eye protects you from evil spirits, jealousy and the "ill will" of others by peering back them in their spirit realm. It is worn as a protection talisman.
