Haize Boutique is a jewellery brand founded by Hazal Gurbuz who values historic craftsmanship re imagined with contemporary elements of bold, fun and beautiful fashion trends. The designs of our jewellery unite with Eastern and Western heritage and are inspired by the Mediterranean and Turkish traditions. Every piece is handcrafted by artisans in Istanbul and are made from 925 Sterling Silver and Gold Plated coverings, Stainless Steel including semi-precious gemstones.

WHAT IS THE EVIL EYE?

"Nazar" or the "Evil Eye" dates back 5000 years. As well as being strongly seen in the Turkish culture, it also exists in other cultures too.

It is believed that the eye protects you from evil spirits, jealousy and the "ill will" of others by peering back them in their spirit realm. It is worn as a protection talisman.
